Jane Hibbert

Jane studied Fine Art at Oxford Brookes University, graduating with a First-Class BA (Hons).

Her abstract sculptures emerge from an intuitive dialogue with material and time. Fluid, tactile surfaces carry quiet traces of making, while openings and inner chambers evoke refuge, transition and a sense of held space. Each piece balances strength and vulnerability, weight and stillness. 

Jane has exhibited across the UK for many years. She works from her houseboat studio in Berkshire, where shifting light and the slow movement of water subtly shape her evolving body of work.
